M&T Realty Capital Corporation Provided $21.1 Million in Financing for Multifamily Property in California

M&T Realty Capital Corporation® closed a $21,142,000 Freddie Mac Optigo® conventional loan for the acquisition of a 138-unit multifamily property located just east of Los Angeles in West Covina, CA. The property offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom units for rent. Property amenities include two pools, secure and gated entrance and is in close proximity to higher education institutions.

The transaction was led by Managing Director Charles Jones of M&T Realty Capital Corporation’s Pasadena, CA office. “The transaction was closed within 45 days of application and the buyer did a great job of providing M&TRCC with everything needed meet the tight closing timeline,” said Jones. “In addition, shortly after closing on the property the new owner held an open house for the tenants providing them with insights on how they plan on improving the property.  This was a nice personal touch by the growing owner and operator of workforce housing,” he continued.
